Cynthia
Ann Crawford was born February 20, 1966 in DeKalb, Illinois.
Cindy graduated Valedictorian of DeKalb High, then went on
to attend Northwestern University for one semester. When she
met Victor Skrebneski, the undisputed king of Chicago fashion
photography, her career began to take off.
Cindy commuted between jobs in Chicago and New Yor but she
didn't make a commitment to New York until she had a fall-out
with Skrebneski on her 20th birthday. |
The next day Cindy learned
that she`d GOT A big money job in Bali.
She had to cancel a conflicting
shoot with Skrebneski. Cindy finally took the plunge and moved to
New York to try her luck. Cindy has given birth to her first child,
Presley Walker Gerber was born at a hospital in the Los Angeles
area. The boy weighed 8 pounds, 4 ounces and is 20 inches long.
Crawford Became the first
modern supermodel to pose nude for Playboy, which led an MTV executive
to hire her for their new fashion program, House of Style. Today
Cindy Crawford is still one of the top model's in the world.
